I have recently rediscovered http://www.veetle.com/. Its so nice to have ad -free movies and tv available in hi-def available 24/7. Much better streaming quality than justin TV the closest competitor. The only problem I had with it is you could never come in at the beginning of a movie as most sites don't have a full schedule. It is live programing, so you can't pause, rewind or fast forward its exactly like watching cable tv . I thought this site needs a TV guide. Somebody else apparently thought the same thing as there was a very convenient app developed. You can see whats playing at any given time, and/or add various channels to your favorites Veetle Program Guide You can also watch live sports here if that is your cup of tea.
A lot of the programming is already out on DVD but there are some broadcasts that are still in the theatre like Green Lantern, X-Men First Class and Super 8. It's always fun to watch MST3000 at any time of the day. Unlike most streaming sites, there is also a chat room available for each channel when you are logged in.
This site also works in Linux Ubuntu by the way! You should download the Veetle plugin as you get much better quality. Its safe and it doesn't add any toolbars or desktop icons .

well young lady, for increasing my faith in Canadians I will give you veetle a try. If I can find a way to make it work on my TV, you will see a happy deacon indeed.
